I have been in the Real Estate industry helping people finance homes since 1991. When I started in the business there was no formal education, there were however very complicated guidebooks. I studied these guidebooks inside and out, backward and forward, asked a lot of questions and learned what I needed to learn.

Then I learned how to explain the complex guidelines in a way that my clients could understand. Therefore, my clients would have an understanding and could choose the right mortgage with confidence and know they were doing the right thing.

Financing a home is not rocket science but it can be very stressful and intimidating if you are not informed and if you choose the wrong lender. I created Ask Mortgage Mom to Educate home buyers, so they are empowered to make the right decision for themselves. I also have a passion for education, and I love answering questions.

Buying a home is one of the biggest decisions people will make in their lifetimes, I don’t take that lightly. There are a lot of moving parts to buying a home and there can be a lot of uncertainty. Being educated can help with some uncertainty and knowing what to do when can alleviate stress.

I am also a part time instructor for Kaplan North America, teaching pre licensing edcation for Real Estate Agents .
